BUILT FOR AUSTRALIAN RESTAURANTS

The phone rings.
Service keeps moving.

Calto AI is a phone assistant in development for restaurants taking pickup orders. It works from your current menu, confirms the order with the caller, and puts the decision back in your team’s hands.

A focused first release for phone pickup orders. Currently being built.

A ringing phone should not pull someone away from every table.

During a busy service, even a simple pickup order takes attention: checking the menu, repeating details, and making sure the kitchen has the right request.

Calto AI is being designed to handle that first conversation, then give restaurant staff a clear order to review. Your team decides whether to accept it.

From “hello” to a clear pickup request.

The initial workflow is deliberately simple so every order has a clear owner and next step.

01 /

The call comes in

A caller asks for a pickup order using your restaurant’s existing public number, subject to its call routing setup.

02 /

Calto AI checks your menu

The assistant uses the menu your team maintains and confirms the items, price and pickup time with the caller.

03 /

Your team decides

The request appears as pending. Staff accept or reject it, and the caller is notified by text message.

This describes the planned first release. Availability and call routing will be confirmed during the pilot.

Made for the order you already take over the phone.

We’re starting with Australian restaurants that receive pickup orders by phone and want a practical way to keep those orders moving during service.

A few things to know.

Will Calto AI replace our phone number?

The plan is to work with a restaurant’s existing public number where call forwarding or SIP routing is available. We’ll check the actual setup with each pilot restaurant.

Does an AI order go straight to the kitchen?

No. In the planned first release, a submitted order waits for staff to accept or reject it. The caller receives a text update after that decision.

Can it handle delivery and payments?

Not in the first release. The initial focus is pickup orders with no online payment or delivery flow.

Is Calto AI available now?

Calto AI is in development. We’re shaping the first pilot around real restaurant menus, phone routing and service workflows.
